Blocking not Working

Troubleshoot when Speechbolt call blocking isn’t working. Carrier-level spam protection (AT&T Call Protect, T-Mobile Scam Shield, Verizon Call Filter) may interfere—disable it or contact your carrier support to confirm it’s turned off.

Updated over 2 months ago

If Speechbolt isn’t blocking spam calls, your carrier’s built-in call blocking service may be overriding (or interfering with) Speechbolt.

Step 1: Check if your carrier’s blocking is enabled

If you previously enabled any of these, turn them off:

  • AT&T: AT&T Call Protect

  • T-Mobile / Sprint: T-Mobile Scam Shield

  • Verizon: Verizon Call Filter

Step 2: If you’re not sure, contact your carrier

Carrier support can confirm whether carrier-level call blocking is enabled on your line and help you disable it.
