How can I enable Spam Protection for Android?

Enable Speechbolt spam protection on Android by turning on Contacts and Call Blocking permissions (Settings → Permissions). Ensures Speechbolt won’t block saved contacts and will auto-block numbers from your personal block list.

Updated over 2 months ago

To turn on Speechbolt’s spam protection, you’ll need to enable two permissions.

1) Open Speechbolt Settings

  • Install Speechbolt and log in

  • Go to Settings → Permissions

2) Enable these permissions

  • Contacts (recommended)

This ensures Speechbolt never blocks a number that’s in your contacts.

  • Call Blocking

This enables Speechbolt’s spam blocking features.

3) You’re done

Once permissions are enabled, Speechbolt will automatically block:

  • numbers you’ve added to your personal block list

Privacy note

Speechbolt does not upload your contacts or contact names to the cloud. Your contacts are checked locally on your phone.
