Speechbolt FAQ

Updated today

How does Speechbolt block unwanted calls?

Speechbolt uses a whitelist approach to block 100% of unwanted calls. After downloading the app, select your contacts to create an automatic whitelist. Any caller not on your whitelist is sent to voicemail.

Will I miss important calls?

No. Unknown callers are sent to voicemail, which is transcribed for easy reading. You can text back or call anonymously through the app. If you want a screened caller to ring through in the future, simply add them to your whitelist with one tap.

What's the cost?

Speechbolt offers a 3-day free trial, after which it's $5.99/month with no long-term commitment on our website or $6.99/month on the Apple AppStore. However, a year long subscription is highly recommended as most TCPA cases can take that long to be awarded for civil violations and we include a 20% discount if signing up for the yearly plan.

How does Speechbolt identify spam calls?

We screen caller IDs against multiple databases to catch robocalls, known spam or spoof callers, and telemarketers.

Is my contact list secure?

Yes. Speechbolt uses your contacts solely for whitelisting and keeps them 100% secure and private within the app. We don't store or share this data with other users.

How does Speechbolt integrate with my phone?

During setup, we forward your phone number to Speechbolt. We then manage which calls reach your phone, routing them through the app using your data plan, not your minutes.

Which carriers and devices support Speechbolt?

Speechbolt works with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile / Sprint on iOS and Android devices. We are working hard to get other carriers supported.
